What services do you offer?
We offer non-surgical orthopedic and musculoskeletal evaluations and treatments. Dr. Black has extensive education and experience in her field. Whether, a first time opinion or a 30th opinion, she will do her best to help you meet your goals of pain relief and movement!
But I've already seen a lot of other specialists.... What makes you different?
Dr. Black want you to get better. She may not have the answer immediately at your consult visit, but she is willing to put in the work after the visit to help figure out what is going on and treatments options. A saying she has told many times, “I won’t give up on you, if you won’t give up on me.”
First, she wants to listen to what you have going on and how it is impacting you and affecting your life.
Second, she wants to figure out what is causing you pain or dysfunction. She has a vast array of knowledge of the MSK system and how other body systems may also be having an effect. She also wants to figure out the why it happened and how it can be prevented from worsening or reoccurring.
Third, she wants you to understand what is going. She will take the time to show you pictures, graphics, and gives much detail as you want to understand what is happening in your body.
Fourth, she primarily focuses on treatments that are minimally invasive and based on your bodies innate ability to heal itself. BUT, sometimes these aren’t the options. Sometimes, surgery, medications, steroid injections are needed. And that’s okay! Dr. Black will explain in detail and help facilitate referrals that may be needed.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, most major credit cards (exlc. AMEX), debit cards, HSA/FSA cards.
We do not charge additional processing fees.
There is a small discount for paying with cash.
We do not offer payment plans.
We do offer a small discount for military veterans, active duty military, and public school teachers.
Payment is required same day as consultations and procedures.
What insurance do you accept?
In order to deliver on our goal of providing the HIGHEST quality of care, we do not accept insurance as a form of payment.
Dr. Black is out-of-network with all insurance carriers including CMS (Medicare and Medicaid.)
We offer transparent pricing on consultations and procedures. No card processing fees or surprise bills later for non-covered services and facility fees.

If you use Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare for Life, than you CANNOT seek reimbursement for any of our services. Dr. Black has completely opted our of CMS based plans.
Why don’t you accept any insurance?
We know it’s hard. We have tried our hardest to keep our prices fair and accessible to as many people as possible.
We don’t accept insurance for many reasons. The summary of those reasons being that insurance companies have placed so many barriers to getting reimbursed for services that it would be impossible to give the time and care that Dr. Black believes you deserve.
You have already waited long enough to figure out what is wrong and start the healing process….Avoiding insurance allows Dr. Black to do what she does best!
